** UNC Charlotte's Center for Transportation Policy Studies, headed by Dr. Edd Hauser, has released a report describing CATS transit operations and the development of the South Corridor light rail line. Among other things, the report compares CATS' operations and construction costs with comparable cities, including four in North Carolina.
